Alexis Charisse is this young 25-year-old woman whose voice is breathtaking and is always a sure crowd pleaser. She has the ability to combine the sound of the old time country in with the country of today. She is breaking into the country music scene and bringing fans by the number along with her.
Alexis Charisse grew up in Richardson, Texas where she found the love of music at home, with her house always being filled with it! Whether it was singing along with the musicals Annie or The Sound of Music Alexis has always shown that she truly loves to sing. "I can remember Alexis singing at the age of probably 3 or 4 with her toy microphone Twinkle Twinkle and Peanut Butter and Jelly", said her mother Donna Gibson.
Alexis began voice lessons at the age of 6 and continued throughout her school years. She was a member of the All Girls Choir and the Chorale Choir as well. Throughout her school years Alexis would astonish her peers and teachers with her solos in musical plays and talent shows. After graduating high school Alexis began to sing The National Anthem at SMU basketball games and at many of the local opry's including Johnnie High's, The Garland Opry, The Farmersville Opry, The Wylie Opry, Mesquite Rodeo City Music Hall, as well as The Denison Main Street Showcase just to mention a few.
Today Alexis is to pursuing her dreams of singing professionally in the local nightclub scene or private affairs, she is ready willing and able. She is all set now to take her singing abilities to the next level. Keep an eye out for this star on the rise!
